GVSS means Gentle Vision Shaping:  The latest thing going on with us this month is GVSS!  Think of it as orthodontics for the eyes. Our gentle vision shaping system is a method to wear retainer contact lenses at night so you don't have to wear vision correction during the day. While all of our doctors are involved in GVSS, our clinical expert is Dr. Melissa Dow. We have a lot of information on the website about GVSS, but we also have handouts for those who are more interested in finding out if they are a candidate.  

This procedure also slows the progression of nearsightedness in our kids. Yes, you heard that right. Studies have shown that not only can we reduce the prescription now, but we can ultimately overcome some of the genetic and environmental effects that make us more nearsighted.
